Fire destroys unoccupied home in Central Park


Firefighters from Grays Harbor Fire District 2 and the Montesano Fire Department responded to a structure fire early Sunday morning at a single story home on the 100 block of Fairway Drive in Central Park, officials reported. The home was unoccupied and there were no injuries.

The fire was reported about 4:45 a.m. Sunday and fire personnel were on scene throughout the morning. The investigation remains in the preliminary stages, but the fire gutted the building.

Approximately 18 firefighters were on scene, including four fire engines, a rescue engine and a medic unit.
