As of Oct. 1, GED testing fees will double statewide, increasing from the current $75 to $150.
However, if the GED testing is started before Oct. 1, students can lock into the current $75 fee regardless of whether they complete the tests by that date.
The fee increase affects all GED test sites throughout the state, including Grays Harbor College. GED preparation classes are offered by the College at the Whiteside Education Center in Aberdeen, the Riverview Education Center in Raymond, the Columbia Education Center in Ilwaco and many other locations in the college’s two-county service district.
