Hoquiam school policy

The Hoquiam School District Board of Education established a policy Thursday regarding the use of personal technology, such as cell phones and cameras on school property.

The policy said that such devices shall not be used “in a manner that disrupts the educational process.” Cameras on cell phones and other photographic or video devices are not allowed to be used on school vehicles, restrooms, locker rooms, or in a way that “violates the rights of others.”

Those who violate the policy will not be allowed to bring said devices into school.
