Man caught with stolen meat

A 21-year-old Hoquiam man was arrested early Saturday morning after he was discovered with stolen frozen meat, according to police.

The man was in a backyard on the 700 block of Karr Avenue when the resident found him at about 1 a.m. shifting white packages into another container. Police arrived and determined he had entered a nearby home and stolen meat from its freezer. He was booked on suspicion of burglary, theft, trespassing and vehicle prowl and is held in Grays Harbor County Jail.
