A Taholah man was taken to Grays Harbor Community Hospital Wednesday afternoon after he rolled his car about 20 miles north of Ocean Shores.
About 4 p.m., the 61-year-old driver veered off the road while driving northbound on Highway 109, hit a dirt embankment and rolled his 2006 Chevrolet HHR. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels facing southbound, according to the Washington State Patrol. Investigators believe a medical incident may have been the cause of the crash.
The man’s condition was not available at press time.
The man, who was reportedly not wearing a seat belt, has been charged with second-degree negligent driving. The State Patrol does not believe alcohol or drugs where invovled in the crash. The vehicle was totalled.
