WSU Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties have collaborated with the Westport Winery to offer a clinic on a container arrangements for plants.
Master Gardeners will be at the winery from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday to diagnose disease, insect and plant problems. Those bringing plants specimens for diagnosis or insect identification should bring them in sealed containers.
Master Gardeners will also answer general gardening question. There will be information available about who WSU Master Gardeners are, what they do for the community and how to become a WSU Master Gardener.
The winery will supply potting soil, free of charge. Selection of plants from the winery’s nursery stock may be purchased and planted in a pot or planter the customer provides — although not one larger than four gallons. Also a Master Gardener will be available to help select plants and arrange them.
