Medical marijuana equipment stolen

A medical marijuana patient called Aberdeen Police Sunday night after discovering several items were stolen from his home, including an expensive piece of equipment used for measuring THC content in his medical marijuana, according to Aberdeen police.

The $20,000 SRI Gas Chromatograph 8610C was taken from the 500 block of North Jeffries Street, and is described as 15 inches by 20 inches and about 18 inches tall with a red top and tan bottom. The man reported his paperwork showing his authorization to grow medical marijuana was also stolen, along with his 32-inch flat screen television, computer and about $300 in change.

The burglary may have taken place between April 26 and the evening of April 28. Police ask anyone with information to call 533-3180 or the tip line at 538-4450.
