Four registered sex offenders recently changed addresses in Aberdeen.
John G. Gray, 30, moved to the 2300 block of Simpson Avenue. He’s a Level 3 sex offender after a conviction in Grays Harbor Juvenile Court for unlawful imprisonment and second-degree assault in 2000, and a 2005 conviction in Thurston County Superior Court for third-degree assault with sexual motivation.
Shane M. Dujardin, 32, moved to the 900 block of West First Street. He’s a Level 3 sex offender convicted of first-degree rape of a child in 1996 in Grays Harbor Juvenile Court and first-degree sexual misconduct with a minor in Grays Harbor Superior Court in 2000.
Jesse E. Goetz, 32, moved to the 200 block of East Wishkah Street. He’s a Level 2 sex offender convicted of third-degree rape in Grays Harbor Superior Court in 2002.
Thomas G. Reed, 52, moved to the 400 block of West Wishkah Street. He’s a Level 2 sex offender convicted of second-degree assault with sexual motivation in Grays Harbor Superior Court in 2001.
Law enforcement agencies are authorized under state law to inform the public when a convicted sex offender or kidnapping offender is released from custody or changes addresses. The offenders also are required to register their residence with the Sheriff’s office in the county where they will be residing.
The police report noted there are more than 19,000 sex or kidnapping offenders currently living in Washington state. Approximately 400 of these are registered to Grays Harbor County addresses. About 150 are registered to addresses within the city limits of Aberdeen.
