Not guilty plea in candy theft

A 24-year-old Elma man is accused of breaking in to Harbor Pacific Bottling and stealing candy and cookies from vending machines on a truck.

Sonny J. Miller pleaded not guilty in Grays Harbor Superior Court Monday to a second-degree burglary charge. On Nov. 25, Miller was found inside the fenced area of the business by Grays Harbor Sheriff’s deputies responding to an alarm. Several items were missing from vending machines inside a truck.

Miller is being held in Grays Harbor County Jail with $10,000 bail.
