Peggy Fouts honored with association award

Peggy Fouts, director of Grays Harbor Communications, last week was honored by the Washington State Association of Public Safety Communications Officers with its Life Member award.

According to Fire District 5 Chief Dan Prater, who also serves as chair of the 911 center’s operating board, said the award recognizes longstanding, active association members.

“She is recognized as a person of vision, courage and conviction who serves as both a mentor and a role model. She makes a positive impact on her profession and builds a sense of community and collaboration amongst the many public safety communication agencies in our state and our nation,” Prater wrote in a press release.
