Grays Harbor PUD will conduct two planned power outages Nov. 7 in Ocean Shores and on off Highway 109 west of Hoquiam to improve system reliability.
The Ocean Shores outage will impact customers south of the intersection between Highway 109 and Highway 115. Hogan’s Corner residents won’t be affected. The outage will begin at 10 p.m. and last about 10 hours.
The second outage will impact customers on Burrows Road, Bayberry Drive, Branch B Road, North Shore PLace, Hogan Road, Dusty Lane and Orton Lane, all located off of SR 109 west of Hoquiam. Customers from 1380 Highway 109 to 1440 Highway 109 will also be affected. The outage will start at 10 p.m. and last about three hours.
Those impacted by the outages can prepare by unplugging any electronic equipment. Customers shouldn’t repair their own electrical systems during the outages, as power could be restored at any time.
