Grays Harbor PUD Commissioners are interviewing the final five candidates in the search to find a new general manager to replace Rick Lovely, who retired in January.
The commissioners are conducting a series of three special meetings to hold executive sessions so they can interview the candidates. Two of them are current managers with the district, though their names have not yet been made public by the PUD. The other three are from other Northwest public utilities.
“They are all very sharp men,” PUD Commissioner Dave Timmons said.
The first interviews were Tuesday, and the others are Monday and April 23. Timmons said he was excited about changes being put in place ahead of the general manager decision.
“We’re definitely going to make things different,” he said.
