About 100 Grays Harbor PUD customers in the area of the north shore of Lake Quinault to Kalaloch remained without power Tuesday morning, after a faulty underground cable knocked out power in the northwest part of the county.
The district could not give an estimate on when power will be fully restored.
The outage was reported about 2 a.m. and initially impacted about 2,440 customers in Pacific Beach, Copalis Beach, Moclips and Taholah.
On Monday morning, power was knocked out to about 215 customers from South Aberdeen to the Ocean Spray facility in Markham. The outage was caused by the failure of a switch, the PUD said.
