Semi snaps power lines, poles

Traffic was backed up on Broadway Avenue in Hoquiam on Friday after a semi-tractor trailer truck hit a low-hanging power line, hooked on to the line and snapped a utility pole in two, police said. The top half the pole that was broken came to rest on the top of another utility pole. Traffic was delayed for about an hour.
