Summit Pacific Medical Center has added Magnetic Resonance Imaging services. The new hospital has contracted with Alliance Imaging to bring a mobile MRI unit once a week.
“As part of our mission, we have committed to providing the community with even better access to healthcare,” Joy Iversen, Diagnostic Imaging Department Manager said in a press release, “we are thrilled to be able to continue to live up to our mission and improve this community’s access to important diagnostic services close to home.”
Summit Pacific accepts MRI orders from all providers and facilities. If an individual has an order from their provider to receive an MRI, that order can be filled at SPMC by calling the Diagnostic Imaging Department at 360-346-2243 to schedule an appointment. Since Summit Pacific Medical Center opened in Elma, the Diagnostic Imaging Department has been able to add digital mammography, ultrasound and now MRI to its services, which already included CT scans and X-rays.
