POULSBO — A 57-year-old man was flown to Harborview Medical Center on Friday night after suffering life-threatening injuries when the ATV he was driving rolled on top of him.
North Kitsap firefighters responded to a 911 call after 6 p.m. from a woman saying her husband was pinned under an ATV he was driving in the 20200 block of Robin Lane in Poulsbo, Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Scott Wilson said. The woman said her husband was using his ATV at the time to do some yard work when he struck a tree and became pinned under the ATV, Wilson said.
The man was not wearing a helmet at the time.
The man was flown to Harborview from Raab Park in Poulsbo about an hour after the accident occurred, Wilson said.
