Battle Ground teen arrested for allegedly writing bomb threat in boys’ bathroom

A Battle Ground teen was arrested Wednesday for allegedly writing a bomb threat in a boys’ bathroom at Battle Ground High School last month.

Luke Love, 18, was booked into the Clark County Jail on one count of threatening to bomb or injure property, according to a news release from the city of Battle Ground.

High school staff notified Battle Ground Police on the morning of Feb. 28 of a bomb threat written in a boys’ bathroom. Battle Ground Public Schools sent students home and closed the school for the rest of the day.

During a search of the campus, no device was located, the news release said.

The completed investigation will be sent to the Clark County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
