Farm worker electrocuted; pipe hit power line

PASCO (AP) — The Franklin County sheriff’s office says a farm worker was electrocuted when an aluminum irrigation pipe he was moving contacted an overhead power line. Sgt. Jim Dickenson said deputies found the body of Eloy Cordero-Guzman yesterday in an alfalfa field in the north part of the county. The irrigation pipe was 29 feet long and had a burn mark on it. Officials say the power transmission line carried a current of about 7,000 volts.
