Truck used in Kent violence found near Sultan

The man who rammed a pickup truck into a Kent home and shot his ex-wife has apparently killed himself on a rural road near Sultan.

King County sheriff’s Sgt. Cindi West says investigators are working under the assumption a body found near the pickup is the man’s. The official determination will be made by the Snohomish County medical examiner’s office.

Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton says the truck and body were found about 9 a.m. Thursday, and the person had apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The license on the truck matches the license of truck that crashed through the front window of the Kent home about 3:30 a.m. West says the driver shot his ex-wife in the hand. Three children in the house were not hurt.
