Two people arrested after stabbing in Centralia

Two people were arrested after they allegedly stabbed a 31-year-old Centralia man multiple times during a fight in Centralia Wednesday night.

The victim, whose name has not been released, sustained multiple stab wounds, including a life-threatening wound to the chest. He was later airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.

Justin C. Razor, 27, and Emily P. Satcher, 23, both of Chehalis, were arrested and booked into jail for first-degree assault. They allegedly jumped the victim and stabbed him multiple times outside of an apartment building on the 600 block of North Washington Avenue, said Centralia Police Sgt. Stacy Denham.

Police initially responded to a report of a fight that involved multiple people at 9:24 p.m. Wednesday, Denham said. When they arrived, they found a man who had sustained several stab wounds.

The fight began when Satcher arrived at the apartment building and began threatening to punch the girlfriend of the victim in the face, Denham said. The victim intervened, and Razor, who is Satcher’s boyfriend, allegedly attacked the victim.

Satcher then got involved in the fight as well, and bystanders pulled her away and broke up the fight, Denham said. Satcher sustained a minor laceration to her leg.

Both Razor and Satcher fled the scene in a dark-colored Chevrolet Trailblazer prior to law enforcement’s arrival. They were later located by Chehalis police, Denham said.

The motive for the stabbing is unclear, but it appears to be related to an ongoing dispute between the two females, Denham said.
