A judge has set bail at $200,000 for an 18-year-old woman charged in one Everett, Wash., espresso stand robbery and under investigation in two others.
The Daily Herald reports that McKenzie Tesch has been charged in the Nov. 20 robbery of the Bigfoot Espresso stand on Everett Mall Way.
Court papers say a barista told police that a woman with facial piercings handed her a note demanding money and claimed to have a gun. The assailant then pulled a large butcher knife from her jacket.
Deputy Prosecutor Kathy Jo Blake said during a Monday bail hearing that Tesch is under investigation in two robberies at Stiletto Espresso south of Everett.
Tesch was arrested Saturday evening. Police also seized a large knife.
Earlier this year, she pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault after a January confrontation with her boyfriend.
