Beatrice E. Brown, 86, a past resident of Aberdeen, died Monday, June 10, 2013, at the Willapa Harbor Health & Rehab Center in Raymond. She was born December 2, 1926, in Weippe, Idaho, to Earl and Leona (Arthe) Barnes.
Bea graduated from Weippe High School, Idaho in 1944. For 25 years she worked as a bookkeeper for International Laborers and Carpenters; she retired in 1988.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening, knitting, camping and crocheting. Bea was a member of the Alder Grove Church of God in Aberdeen.
She is survived by a son, Ron Bonner of Weippe, Idaho; a daughter, Angela (Robert) Deatherage of Raymond; a sister, Berneil Eby of Aberdeen; three grandchildren, Tani Deatherage, Tera (Chris) Stephens and Tommy Bonner; four great-grandchildren, Tayler Deatherage, Tysen and Taren Stephens and Tylor Bonner. Bea is also survived by nieces, Kathy, Mila and Roberta and a nephew, Dana. She made special friends with the caring staff at the Willapa Harbor Care Center as well. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joel Brown.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
