Brandon Michael Oliver was born in Aberdeen, Washington on February 27, 1992.
Brandon was such a wonderful happy, young man who has been taken away from us to soon at the young age of 20 on November 22, 2012.
He was raised in the North River Valley and graduated in 2011 from North River School, was attending his 2nd year at Grays Harbor College in the Diesel Tech Program and was an honor student with perfect attendance.
Brandon worked for Sanjel Oil Co. in North Dakota as a diesel mechanic during the summer of 2012. He enjoyed working for and helping many people in the North River Valley. Brandon also built a beautiful rock fireplace for the family home at North River.
Brandon enjoyed diesel mechanics, friends, family, music, duck and bear hunting, and all other facets of outdoor life, including his dogs, Abby & Mocha. He volunteered many hours of community service work and enjoyed helping anyone at anytime. Brandon always had a smile on his face and liked to make people laugh. Brandon loved to fix anything mechanical and kept meticulous notes. He was a very sentimental person and kept special times close to his heart. Brandon played football for Wishkah High School his senior year because North River didn’t have enough players to form a team. He made many friends there and was voted Player of the Week. He also loved weight lifting and broke and set records in high school. He was very artistic and enjoyed painting and pottery. Brandon was very proud of all his scholarships he worked so hard for including the ones he received from all the local foundations, the Pontoon Project from Kiewit & the Hughes Tool Scholarship.
Brandon is survived by parents, Charlie & Debbie Oliver; brother, Jeff Oliver; and grandparents, Don and Shirley Miller all of the North River Valley and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1st at Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo followed by a celebration of his life at 1:00 p.m. at North River Gymnasium.
