Carlos Timothy (Tim) Hoffman, died Monday, December, 31 2012 in Decatur, Texas. He was 76. Born March 28, 1936 in Cleveland, Arkansas to Carl and Gladys Hoffman, he lived most of his life in Washington, prior to coming to Texas only a few short months ago.
Tim’s hobbies included motorcycles, hot rods, guns and old radios. He had a love for the outdoors as well as local history logging camps, old bottles and such. It also came naturally for him to utilize those natural resources from his land to build and create an incredible place from the earth.
Sharing his time with dear close friends, speaking of times past meant the world to him, such as his friends Bud Ladezman, Hop Dhooghe, Henry McGiveron, Marv Kelly, Ken Bohren, and many others both here and gone.
His sister, Donna Brown and brother, David Hoffman preceded him in death.
Survivors who will miss him dearly include his sisters, Naomi and Dana Whitfield; daughter, Melinda and her husband, Robert Lee; granddaughters, Tracie Lee, Morgan Lee and Allesha and Nic Miller; as well as 9 great-grandchildren all of Alaska and Texas; as well as daughter, Annette and her husband, Oscar Llamas and granddaughter, Daniela Marmolejo of Illinois. Also, last but not least his beloved dog, Jackie.
