Carol (Cross) Llewellyn


Carol (Cross) Llewellyn was born January 15, 1946, in Portland, Oregon. Soon after her birth, the family moved to Richland, Washington to join their father who was working for the Hanford Project and had acquired housing for the family.

Carol graduated from Richland High School in 1964. Carol was an athlete and played on the tennis team under Coach Rex Davis. Carol graduated from Central Washington State University. Carol married Don Llewellyn but was later divorced.

Carol moved to Copalis Crossing and lived there for over 30 years with her life partner, Gordon (Dennis) Main. Carol was partner in the 7th Street Consignment Shop in Hoquiam, Wash. for many years until retiring December 31, 2012. Carol enjoyed playing shuffleboard, yearly trips to Reno with friends and fantasy football.

Carol is survived by her brothers, Allan Cross, Robert Cross and Duane Cross; close cousins, Helen (Cross) Kirk, Roy Cross; lifelong friend, V. Cathryn Hodgin; and Dennis’ sister, Joyce (Main) Musolino. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Robert Cross; mother, Phyllis (Maughan) Cross; her sister, Maryjane (Cross) Marratt; and her life partner, Gordon (Dennis) Main.

A memorial service for Carol is being planned.
