SAHUARITA, Ariz. — Former Wishkah Valley resident Carl J. Helberg died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at his home in Sahuarita, Ariz. He was 53.
There will be a private service.
Arrangements are by Hudgel’s Swan Funeral Home in Tucson, Ariz.
Rosalie Thompson
Rosalie I. Thompson, a seven-year resident of Hoquiam, died at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam, Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012. She was 77.
She had been a telephone operator for Bell Telephone in Oregon for several years, coming to Hoquiam from Reardon following the death of her husband.
Inurnment will take place with her husband, Charles, in Greenwood Cemetery in Astoria.
Cremation arrangements were by Fern Hill Funeral Home of Aberdeen.
Linda D. Hargrove
Linda Denise Hargrove, a resident of Pacific Beach for the past 12 years, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 52.
There will be no formal funeral.
Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
Sophie M. Nadolny
Sophie Mary Nadolny of Ocean Shores died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 89.
Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.
Peggy P. Kirk
MONTESANO — Artist Peggy Pauline Kirk died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at her home in Montesano. She was 85.
Visitation will take place today through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. in the chapel at Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at the Montesano Presbyterian Church.
Joseph Brand
Hoquiam resident Joseph A. Brand died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 66.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Elma.
Sharon Stoken
Hoquiam resident Sharon M. Stoken died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at her home. She was 66. She had worked at Lincoln Elementary School in Hoquiam for 28 years as a custodian and playground supervisor.
Donations can be made to the Friendship House, 513 North G St., Aberdeen, WA 98520.
Visitation will be at the Coleman Mortuary on from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam.
Lawrence Sims
Lawrence Sims of Aberdeen died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 61.
Services are being planned and will be announced in The Daily World.

Kelly P. O’Brien
A celebration of life for Tacoma resident Kelly Patrick O’Brien, who died Oct. 10 at his mother’s home in Hoquiam, will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Walt’s Auto Care Center in Covington.
