Darlene M. Petty

KENNEWICK — Former Harborite Darlene Mary Petty, who has been living in Kennewick with her daughter since October, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, in Kennewick. She was 77.

She had lived in Copalis Beach for 12 years and was a laborer in road construction.

Arrangements are by Einan’s Funeral Home in Richland.

Jean Wise

Jean C. Wise, a longtime Harbor resident, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, in Hoquiam. She was 71.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Grove Cemetery in Matlock, followed by a memorial service at 11 at the Matlock Church.

Funeral arrangements are by the Whiteside Family Mortuary in Elma.

Frances E. Mott

MONTESANO — Frances Erma Mott died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at the home of her daughter, Pauline Stamon in Montesano. She was 91.

She had lived in Langley on Whidbey Island for 59 years and came to live with her daughter two years ago.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Langley United Methodist Church followed by a potluck lunch. Arrangements are by the Visser Funeral Home of Langley.

Beverly Mattler

Beverly R. Mattler, a longtime resident of Hoquiam, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam. She was 97.

She had worked for various businesses on the Harbor including Johnson’s Juvenile, Deans Variety, Simons Hardware, Pay-n-Save, JC Penney and the Hoquiam Laundromat, retiring in 1975.

A private urn committal will be held at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
