Joelette T. Bastian-Ramos
TAHOLAH — Joelette Tracey Bastian-Ramos, a resident of Taholah died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at her home in Taholah. She was 49.
She was a standout fast pitch player and had played as a pitcher for teams with the Quinault Indian Nation and for Early Tire in the Aberdeen Park & Recreation League. She led the Taholah All Stars to two state appearances.
Visitation will be at the Coleman Mortuary from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday. A candlelight service will follow at 7 p.m. at the Indian Shaker Church in Taholah. An Indian Shaker service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, also at the Shaker Church, followed by interment will follow at the Taholah Cemetery and a dinner at the Taholah Community Center.
Warren R. Williams
Warren Ralph Williams, a longtime Hoquiam resident, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at his home in Hoquiam. He was 91.
He had worked for Saginaw Shingle and later as a share holder for Hoquiam Plywood, from which he retired.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at New Beginnings Church in Aberdeen.
A private interment will be at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the New Beginnings Church, 301 North B St., Aberdeen, 98520.
