Rita Copeland Matthews
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Former Aberdeen resident Rita Copeland Matthews of Oklahoma City, Okla., died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, in Oklahoma City. She was 78.
She attended Miller Junior High School and graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1952.
As past president of the Oklahoma City Kappa Delta Sorority she created the Bear Patch program which provided teddy bears to children affected by the 1995 bombing of the Murrah Building in downtown Oklahoma City. Arrangements were by Hahn-Cook Funeral Home in Oklahoma City.

MONTESANO — Terry G. Matson, a Montesano resident, died at his home in Montesano, Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013. He was 61.
He and his wife, Tammera, opened “Barber T’s Barber Shop” in Montesano in 2009. At his request there will be no formal memorial service. Cremation arrangements are by Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
