Donna J. McGuin

OLYMPIA — Donna Jean McGuin, a longtime Grays Harbor resident, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, in Olympia. She was 79.

A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the Masonic Cemetery in Elma.

Arrangements are by Whiteside Family Mortuary in Elma.

Mary L. DeLaMater

SEATTLE — Grays Harbor resident Mary Lou DeLaMater died at a Seattle hospital Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013. She was 74.

She had lived here since 1977 and had worked at the New China Cafe on Wishkah.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel at Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen. Inurnment will take place in Fern Hill Cemetery.

John M. “Mike” Kuronen

John Michael “Mike” Kuronen, a 1952 graduate of Aberdeen High School, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 78.

He was a retired engineer who had worked in advanced electronics research and development in Woodland Hills, Calif.

A memorial service is being planned and a full obituary will follow in The Daily World.

Arrangements are by Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Betty F. Holand

OLYMPIA — Betty Frances Holand, a resident of the South Beach since 1955, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. She was 86.

A memorial service is being planned and will be announced in a later edition of The Daily World.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Esther E. Winter

OLYMPIA — Longtime Hoquiam resident Esther Evelyn Winter died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, in Olympia. She was 96.

She worked at the Economy Market and Lamb Grays Harbor during the war and then worked at the Grays Harbor Veneer plant for 25 years. She also worked part time at the state liquor store in Hoquiam for six years.

At her request, no memorial service will be held.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
