Lori N. Mellquest

A celebration of life for Montesano resident Lori Newlin Mellquest, who died July 13 in Aberdeen, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Montesano Health and Rehab. Donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are by the Harrison Family Mortuary.

John Erak

A celebration of life for lifetime Aberdeen resident John Erak, who died June 28 in Aberdeen, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Aberdeen First Presbyterian Church. Lt. Gov. Brad Owen will present the eulogy and state and military honors will be given. A reception will follow at the Aberdeen Museum of History. Private inurnment has taken place in Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen.

The family suggests donations to the Aberdeen Museum of History, 111 E. 3rd, Aberdeen 98520.

Earl Anderson Jr.

Longtime Hoquiam resident Earl Anderson Jr. died Thursday, July 11, 2013, at home. He was 88.

He had been a boat builder and charter boat captain.

Arrangements are by the Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen.

Cecil L. Herrington

A graveside service for longtime Hoquiam resident Cecil Leroy Herrington, who died July 12 at home, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam, followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. at the Aberdeen United Christian Church. A reception will follow at the Polson Museum in Hoquiam.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Donald Crisp

A graveside inurnment for longtime Montesano resident Donald E. Crisp, who died July 17, 2012, in Hoquiam, will be held at noon Saturday in Wynooche Cemetery in Montesano. Military honors will be given by the Montesano VFW. A celebration of his life will follow at the United Christian Church in Aberdeen.

Arrangements were by the Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Jose Alaniz-Chairez

MONTESANO — Jose Alaniz-Chairez died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at his home in Montesano. He was 43.

A celebration of his life will be held from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday at St. Mary Church.
