John Erak

John Erak, lifetime resident of the Harbor, former legislator, educator and present Aberdeen councilman, died at Grays Harbor Community Hospital, Friday, June 28, 2013. He was 81.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the Aberdeen First Presbyterian Church. A reception will follow at the Aberdeen Museum of History. Private interment will take place at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen.

Arrangements are by the Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Nick J. “The Greek” Docsanes

LAKEWOOD — Former longtime Hoquiam resident Nick James “The Greek” Docsanes of Centralia died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood. He was 70.

A funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at Newell-Hoerling’s Mortuary in Centralia, followed by a graveside service at Claquato Cemetery in Chehalis. A celebration of his life will be held at 12:30 that afternoon at the Gibson House, 221 N. Tower in Centralia.

The family suggests donations to the Pushrods, P.O. Box 572, Hoquiam, WA 98550.
