Wesely H. Steinruck

MONTESANO — Harborite Wesely Herman Steinruck died Wednesday Aug. 28, 2013, at Montesano Health & Rehab Center. He was 70.

He was a lifetime member of VFW and had served as past district commander and past commander of both the Aberdeen and Hoquiam VFW.

A celebration of his life is being planned for next week. An obituary with details will follow in The Daily World.

Arrangements are by the Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Anna P. Matye

Hoquiam resident Anna Pearl Matye died at Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 90.

She had been a resident of Oakridge, Ore., coming to Hoquiam a year ago to live near her son, Rod Matye of Cosmopolis.

As a veteran of the Marine Corps, Anna will be inurned with her husband in Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore.

Arrangements are by the Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Madonna Hall

SEATTLE — Former Grays Harbor resident Madonna M. Hall a resident of Sun City West, Ariz., for the past five years died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle.

She was 70.

She graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1960.
