William H. Cooper

CENTRALIA — Longtime Aberdeen resident William Harvey Cooper died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at Sharon Care Center in Centralia. He was 85.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 13 and 14, and also on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the chapel at Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen. A graveside service will take place at noon Saturday at Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam followed by a 2 p.m. celebration of his life at Harbor City Church in Aberdeen.

David L. Woodland

David Lee Woodland, lifelong resident of the Harbor, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 82.

He had been an insurance and real estate agent on the Harbor for many years.

A celebration of his life is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Fern Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Aberdeen. A reception will follow at the Aberdeen Elks Lodge.
