Terry L. Watt

SOUTH BEND — Terry Lee Watt of South Bend died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, in South Bend. He was 60.

A South Bend resident for 42 years, Terry was self-employed as a carpenter.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the South Bend Baptist Church.

Arrangements are by Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.

Sharon A. Traversie

Ocean Shores resident Sharon Anne Traversie died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 65.

From 1980 to 1985 she had been a licensed minister in the Open Door Fellowship ministries. She and her husband William came to the Harbor in 1989.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at the New Beginnings Open Bible Church in Aberdeen. The service will conclude with a potluck gathering.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Kathleen Smithson

GIG HARBOR — Former Harborite Kathleen B. Smithson of Olympia died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Cottesmore of Life Care in Gig Harbor. She was 98.

Arrangements are by Funeral Alternatives of Washington in Lacey.

Glenn McAfee

SUN CITY, Ariz. — Former Aberdeen resident Glenn E. McAfee of Sun City, Ariz., died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, in Sun City West, Ariz. He was 90.

Interment with military honors will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.

Ross “Bud” Fuquay

Ross H. “Bud” Fuquay of Cosmopolis died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at his home. He was 82.

There will be a celebration of his life with military honors at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at the VFW Park in Montesano.

Arrangements are by Whiteside Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Dennis W. “Bubba” Barker

OLYMPIA — Dennis William “Bubba” Barker, a 34-year Harbor resident, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. He was 59.

A celebration of his life will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Brady Grange.

Arrangements are by Whiteside Family Mortuary in Elma.
