Gilbert M. Weller

RAYMOND — Gilbert Max Weller died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at the Willapa Harbor Health & Rehabilitation Center in Raymond. He was 83.

He moved to South Bend in 1969, when his wife got a teaching position there. He worked at Arne’s Arco as a mechanic for 35 years until the business closed. He later worked as a security guard for Hampton Hardwood for several years.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Raymond.

Arrangements are by Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.

Sarah L. Archibald

Sarah Lucille Archibald, a Harborite for the past 10 years, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 97.

She was a nurse’s aide in adult care facilities in California.

No formal service is being planned.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Janice P. Wilson

LACEY — Janice Pauline Wilson, a longtime Raymond resident, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at the Roo Lan Health Care Center in Lacey. She was 74.

She worked as a clerk and a janitor before becoming a receptionist for the Willapa Harbor Herald until her retirement in 1998.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, at Crossroads Church in Raymond.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090.

Arrangements are by Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.

Tyson H. Jones

OLYMPIA — Tyson Hamel Jones,a lifetime resident of Aberdeen and former carpenter for Franciscovich Construction, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at Mother Joseph Care Center in Olympia. He was 91.

There will be a celebration of his life at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Aberdeen First Presbyterian Church.
