“We’re not here for a long time,
we’re here for a good time”
Dennis L. Christensen, Sr. was born October 8, 1958, in Centralia, Washington.
Dennis was a colorful spirit with a knack for telling stories, he was also a ladies man, attracting more women than a Macy’s shoe sale. Dennis was quick witted and had an outstanding sense of humor; a love for the ocean, Kelly and Michael in the morning, fireball whiskey, family and friends.
The last 6 months of his journey were spent in Las Vegas with his 2 eldest children, living, loving and laughing. When he was too tired he laid his head to rest at his home, Washington, with family and friends by his side.
Dennis is survived by his four children.
Although too big for the body he was given, Dennis lived without fear of death in his heart, and on his way out he still had enough joy in his heart to dance the Irish Jig.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Borst Park in Centralia at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2013. Sarah Christensen may be contacted for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“If I should go before the rest of you
Break not a flower nor inscribe a stone,
Nor when I’m gone speak in a Sunday voice
But be the usual selves that I have known.
Weep if you must,
Parting is hell,
But life goes on,
So sing as well.”
