Donna Mae O’Brien (Discher), 82, died on March 15, 2013, in Montesano after battling with lung cancer. She was born to the late Ernest and Alameda (Hasbrouck) Discher, July 16, 1930, in Aberdeen, Washington. Donna graduated from Ocosta High School in 1948.
Donna spent 40 years as a crab shaker/packer at Nelson’s Crab Cannery in Tokeland, and Washington Crab Producers in Westport. She loved to hunt, travel with her family, spend time playing games, and enjoyed vacationing in Reno.
Donna is survived by her uncle, Stanley Hasbrouck (Marie) of Garibaldi, Oregon; brothers, Robert Discher of LaPine, Oregon and Wayne Discher of Grayland; and her sister, Wanda Ripple of Hebron, Maryland. She leaves behind daughters, Jodine Glasgow of Maple Valley, Paula Newland of Montesano, Jackie Angermeir (Dennis) of Grayland; two sons, James Watson (Sherri) of Aberdeen, and Donald Watson (Sandy) of Grayland; plus step children, Judy Waldron of Westport, Ruthie Stratton (Frank) of Maple Valley, and Dee Watson of Westport; along with many, many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss her.
Services will be held at the South Beach Christian Center in Grayland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6th.
