Dr. William W. Miller passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013, in Aberdeen. He was born on July 22, 1921, in Kalispell, Montana to William and Virginia (Bibb) Miller. He was raised in Aberdeen and attended St. Mary’s and Aberdeen High School. He graduated from Stanford University and attended the College of Physicians and Surgeons Dental School in San Francisco. On June 24, 1945, he married Neva Campbell in Petaluma, California.
He belonged to the Washington Dental Association, Aberdeen Country Club, Lions Club, Aberdeen Elks, and St. Johns Catholic Church in Montesano. He enjoyed spending the summers with his family on Flathead Lake in Montana, traveling, playing golf and the piano.
He is survived by his wife, Neva at the family home; his daughter, Janet of Colorado; son, Bill of Colorado; and son, Mel of Aberdeen; his brothers, James of Belfair and Charles of Marysville; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan; and his brothers, Louis, Earl, and Robert.
At his request no services were held. A Committal Service took place on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen.
