Eben “Keaton” Brown passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at the age of 20. Keaton was born on Wednesday, January 20, 1993, in Olympia, Washington to Eben and Celeta Brown. He grew up in Adna and attended the Adna School District though Middle school he then graduated from Kent Lake High School in Kent, Wash.
Keaton fished commercially, side by side, with his father since he was a little boy and began gillnetting in Bristol Bay Alaska for sockeye salmon in 2008 on his dad’s boat the Adrenaline Force. Keaton loved the beauty and simplicity of Alaska while working there and had always hoped to move there someday.
Keaton could always be found outdoors, he loved camping and riding his quad to his thinking spot in the Adna Hills. He loved going out on “Dad’s” Jet Ski boat on Mayfield Lake and no matter how cold the water was Keaton was sure to be found swimming. Keaton loved the water so much that one of his dreams was to travel to Hawaii to swim with the Dolphins. In addition to the outdoors Keaton had a great passion for music.
Keaton’s heart was filled with love for his family and friends, he was caring, giving and so unselfish he would give you the shirt off his back. You will be missed “Little Buddy”.
