Edward E. Gray, age 37, a resident of Ocean Shores, died on June 19, 2013, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup. He was born on March 25, 1976.
Ed had attended school at Lake Quinault until moving with the family to Chewelah, Washington. He had attended Chewelah High School and graduated from Springdale High School in Springdale. He had worked as a logger and later at a paper mill in Usk.
He loved spending time with his daughters and family, as well as the outdoors, hunting, weight lifting and walking on the beach.
In May of 2013, he returned to the coast, moving to Ocean Shores where he worked for his mom at Home Sweet Home Property Management.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Taylor Tachae Lloy Gray and Niah Emma Ruby Gray of Valley, WA; his mother and step-father, Catherine J. and Richard W.Hinds of Ocean Shores; his father, Edward H. Gray, Jr. of Rochester; a sister, Misty Orcutt of Hoquiam adopted sister, Shauna Cearley of Ocean Shores; his grandmother, Arlene Birchfield of Rochester; and four nephews, Patrick, Jeremy, Jr., Kameron and Deacon Orcutt. He is also survived by his fiancée, Katie Roberts.
Visitation will be at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June 25th and Wednesday, June 26th.
A funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam. Interment will follow at Aberdeen’s Fern Hill Cemetery.
