Georgene Alice Estavillo, 65 years of age and a longtime Moclips, Washington area resident, died on Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. She was born on February 2, 1947, in Aberdeen, Washington, to James Jackson and Mary Black.
She was raised in the Moclips, Washington area, attended the Moclips schools and graduated from Moclips High School in 1965. In her high school years and for a few years following, she was a member of the Beach Bums Auto Club.
Georgene Alice Jackson was married to David Norman Estavillo in January of 1971, in Montesano, Washington. The couple made their home in the Pacific Beach, Washington area prior to moving to Hoquiam, Washington about five years ago.
She was an avid league pool player and won many trophies.
Georgene Estavillo is survived by two sons, Raymond J. Estavillo of Hoquiam and Ruben Estavillo of Moclips; one daughter, Valerie Rodriquez of Hoquiam; two brothers, Glen Jackson of Moclips and Clifford Jackson of Amanda Park; many grandchildren including Jameson Estavillo whom she helped raise. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Norman Estavillo who died in 1994. Two brothers, Michael Jackson and Dopey Jackson also died before her.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, in the Coleman Mortuary Chapel. The services will conclude at the chapel.
