Glen David Wolcott of Montesano, Washington, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 23, 2013, in Aberdeen, Washington. Glen was born on May 10, 1933, in Seattle, Washington, to Donald Wolcott and Edna Mace where he was raised and attended school.
In 1978, Glen married the love of his life his wife Helen in Las Vegas.
Glen had worked in construction for twenty years and as a Security Officer for ten years but what he was proud of the most was that he retired from the United States Army after 22 years of service. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren watching his football and playing cards (poker).
Glen is survived by his wife, Helen at the family home in Montesano; his son, Eric of Montesano, Wash.; daughters, Diana Smith of Hoquiam, Wash. and Brenda Borrmann of Renton, Wash.; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; as well as sister, Lorraine Bruce; and brothers, Wayne and Howard Wolcott. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Warren Wolcott.
There will be a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at the Whiteside Family Mortuary in Aberdeen.
