Greg Redifer


Greg Redifer of Ocean Shores, Washington, was born on October 18, 1951. He passed away on the morning of July 1, 2013, at Good Samaritian Hospital in Puyallup, Washington.

Greg is survived by his children, Teresa Dethman (Jeremy) of Burlington, Wash., Joshua Redifer (Daisha) of Graham, Wash. and Roxanne Redifer (Justin) of Auburn, Wash. He was a proud grandfather of 6, Dylan (21), Kayla (21), McKendrie (17), Deion (15), Paul (14) and Hailey (4). Sibling to Marline, Linda, Annie, Susie, and his brother and best friend, Tony. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, friends, cousins by the dozens and the love of his life, Sheryl, mother of Joshua and Roxanne. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Rita Redifer; sister, Theresa Redifer; Aunt Migs; and his loving and loyal four legged friend, Porka.

Greg spent most of his life in Ocean Shores, where he worked at the Royal Pacific, Sands until retiring In 2004. Greg enjoyed the casino and loved playing cards with family and friends. His favorite passtime was watching WWF wrestling. He enjoyed bingo, listening to jazz and fried potatoes. His most cherished times were making memories with his grandchildren. He was always good for a smile and quick with a laugh. Greg will always be remembered as a man of strength, who found his way through life with the good and the bad. While he may be physically gone, the family will hold him dear for the rest of their lives.

Please join us for a celebration of Greg’s life at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2013, at the North Bay Park in Ocean Shores. Potluck reception.
