Gregory James Makee, a longtime Raymond resident died Sunday, September 2, 2012, at his home in Raymond. He was born January 13, 1952, in Seattle, Washington to Harry and Roberta (Kolos) Makee.
Greg married Angela Makee in Raymond in 1995; she survives him at the family home in Raymond. He worked for the Cosmopolis Pulp Mill as a Journeyman Carpenter until retirement after 28 years as well as volunteered for the Pacific County Search & Rescue. Greg enjoyed the outdoors and spent his time hunting and fishing; he was also a talented craftsman and will be greatly missed.
His wife, Angela, survives him at the family home in Raymond. Greg is also survived by a son, Thomas, and a daughter, Megan Makee both of Raymond; a brother, Mike Makee of Klamath Falls, Oregon; nieces, Stacy and Shelly also of Klamath Falls, Ore.; a brother-in-law, Larry Williams; and very dear niece and nephew, Michel and Chad Williams. Greg is also survived by his mother, Roberta. He is preceded in death by brothers, Bob and Dennis; and his father, Harry.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012, at Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond with burial to follow at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
