August 23, 1933 - February 17, 2013
Longtime Aberdeen resident Henry “Poncho” Gonzales, 79, went peacefully on to be with his mom and dad on Sunday, February 17, 2013, at 2:40 p.m.
Henry was born on August 23, 1933, in Mora, New Mexico to Monico and Lala Gonzales. Later in life he moved to Grays Harbor and worked at the local timber mills and then went on to run his own businesses which included a motel, restaurant, pool hall and pawn shop.
He leaves behind several adoring children, Suzy, Eddy, Larry, Ernie, Tony, Dale and Randy.
There will be a celebration of life for Henry from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at The Polish Club, located at 823 W. 1st St in Aberdeen.
