JoAnn Coyle, 73, a longtime resident of Grays Harbor passed away on June 20, 2012, at her home in Montesano.
She was born March 20, 1939, in Aberdeen, Washington to Claude Watson and Maxine T’Von (Sonnabend) Ford.
JoAnn married Donald Coyle in 1960. He passed away in December of 2006, after 46 years of marriage.
She lived in Grays Harbor most of her life. She attended schools here and was employed for over 30 years as a cook. She also lived in Winlock and did volunteer work at the senior center prior to returning to the Harbor. JoAnn enjoyed cooking, playing Bingo and spending time with her family. She was also a member of the Hoquiam Eagles and the Montesano Moose.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (Don) Westberg or Montesano; sons, Gerald (Gincy) of Glenoma; brothers, Claude M. Ford of Yuma, Ariz. and Steven D. Ford of California; sister, Dana Green of Olympia; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the Moose Lodge in Montesano.
