Aberdeen resident Judith May Johnson passed away at Pacific Care Center on Monday, January 16, 2012. Judith was born March 8, 1941, in Aberdeen to Jesse and Rena (Maroni) Weese.
Judith graduated from Aberdeen High School, Grays Harbor College and Yakima Business College.
On May 8, 1959, Judith married Gust Johnson in Aberdeen; he survives her at the family home.
She had worked as a nurse for 45 years, working for Dr. Osheroff, Dr. Hugh & Charlie Schutz and also Mike & Teresa Trygstad.
Judith enjoyed playing the guitar and singing in bands.
In addition to her loving husband, Gust, Judith is survived by three children, Martin & Kim Johnson of Woodinville, Wash.; Valarie & Jim Rooker of Montesano; Cheryl & Dale Vessey of Central Park; five grandchildren, Elise Rooker of New York; Jimmy Rooker of Aberdeen; Brina Johnson of Woodinville; Jennifer Vessey of Williston, North Dakota; and Kristen Vessey of Farmingon, Utah.
