Linda was born on January 23, 1945 (12345), in Vancouver, Washington. She passed away on April 8, 2012. She is survived by her sister, Leslie Nelson and her husband Lee of Hailey, Idaho; nephew, Alex Nelson of Bozeman, Montana; and her brother, Roger LeCompte of Tacoma.
Linda lived in Tacoma and worked at Johnny’s Enterprise, making Johnny’s Seasoning, for 26 years. She moved to Ocean Shores in March of 1992 and lived the rest of her life there. She had a love of all things Frog and had a huge collection, her nickname was “The Toad”. The love of her life was her little dog, Tiki, who kept her company and was a true companion. Her social life was being a “Pirate” at the Pirates Cove, and playing bingo on Sundays. Linda was a good cook and prepared razor clams to perfection.
Because of her dear friends at the beach she was able to be in her own home till her death. Her friends were her lifeline in times of need and she was very appreciative of their support.
There will be a celebration of her life at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at the Pirates Cove in Ocean Shores.
