Loren Lee Harris, Jr. left his family and friends unexpectedly to join his passed loved ones in Heaven on March 16, 2013.
He was born March 24, 1960, in Aberdeen, Washington, to Loren Lee (Larry) Harris, Sr. and Clarine (Punky) Williams.
He attended and graduated from Elma Schools.
Loren worked at Cox Texaco in Elma, Elma Plywood, Little River Lumber and Mary’s River Lumber.
He also lived and worked in Lebanon, Ore. for 10 years before returning to the Harbor.
He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, sports card and memorabilia collector and in later years he was a self-proclaimed “Rock Hound”.
Loren is survived by a sister, Lori Soroka of Hoquiam, Wash.; brothers, Lindsey Harris of Seattle, Wash. and Robbie (Lorene) Roman of Montesano, Wash.; as well as step-father, Harvey Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. Loren is also survived by Jason Shannon, Sarah Jones, Jeff and Jonathan Anderson of Oregon, all of whom he raised and thought of as his own children.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother and his brother, Leon.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Hoquiam River RV Park Rec Hall, 425 Queen Ave. in Hoquiam.
